London Borough of Tower Hamlets: Ministerial Envoy appointment letters

Copies of letters regarding the appointment of Ministerial Envoys in relation to the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

Copies of letters from James Blythe, Deputy Director, Local Government Stewardship and Intervention at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government to:

• Kim Bromley-Derry, confirming his appointment as Lead Envoy at Tower Hamlets Council
• Shokal Lal, confirming his appointment as Assistant Envoy at Tower Hamlets Council
• Pam Parkes, confirming her appointment as Assistant Envoy at Tower Hamlets Council

The letters confirm the Envoys’ roles and responsibilities, established by the Directions issued on 17 March 2026 under section 15(5) and (6) of the Local Government Act 1999. They replace the previous appointment letters issued on 22 January 2025.
