Výroční konference Semiotic Society of America
Letos bude program Elektronická kultura a sémiotika (EKS FHS UK) ve spolupráci s International Semiotics Institute (FF UP Olomouc)a Filozofickou fakultou Univerzity Karlovy (FF UK) hostit 49. výroční konferenci Semiotic Society of America - Semiotics of Friendship: Relations Beyond Interactions.
Tématem konference je přátelství – široké interdisciplinární pole, umožňující setkání odborníků z mnoha oblastí: od antropologie a lingvistiky přes kognitivní vědy a kybernetiku až po psychologii, umění a technologie. Zářijová konference SSA, jež proběhne historicky poprvé mimo americký kontinent, představuje jedinečnou příležitost potkat badatele i studenty z celého světa a nahlédnout do současné sémiotické scény.
