Wolf Theiss strengthens its Equity Partnership
Wolf Theiss posiluje Equity Partnership. Do kmenového partnerství vstupují Zeno Grabmayr, Nikolaus Loudon a Stefan Wartinger, čímž se posílí mimo jiné odbornost v soukromém kapitálu, restructuringu, bílé kriminalitě a soutěžním právu, a firma tak lépe podporuje klienty v přeshraničních transakcích, vyšetřování a regulačních otázkách napříč střední a východní Evropou. Případné sdělení zdůrazňuje kontinuitu investic do lidí a jednotný regionální přístup "One region. One firm." s cílem poskytovat koordinované poradenství napříč jurisdikcemi a oblastmi praxe.
Vienna, 21 October 2026 – Wolf Theiss has appointed Zeno Grabmayr, Nikolaus Loudon and Stefan Wartinger as Equity Partners, effective 1 January 2027. The appointments strengthen the firm’s expertise in private equity and restructuring, white collar crime and competition law, supporting clients in cross-border transactions, investigations and complex regulatory matters across Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe.
Zeno Grabmayr and Nikolaus Loudon have spent virtually their entire legal careers at Wolf Theiss. Their progression to the Equity Partnership reflects the firm’s long-term investment in its people and the development of the next generation of its partnership.
“Our clients need advisers who understand their business, exercise sound judgement and bring together the right expertise across markets. Zeno, Nikolaus and Stefan combine these qualities with fresh perspectives on how we work. Their appointments strengthen our ability to support clients through complex decisions across the region.”
– Andrea Gritsch, Partner
Zeno Grabmayr advises on complex domestic and cross-border transactions, with a particular focus on private equity, restructurings and special situations. He acts for sponsors, investors, financial institutions and corporates on acquisitions, investments, restructurings and financing transactions throughout Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe.
Nikolaus Loudon specialises in white collar crime and advises on sensitive matters involving fraud, money laundering, corruption and corporate criminal liability. His practice addresses the increasing scrutiny of boardroom decisions and the responsibilities of corporate decisionmakers, helping clients navigate investigations and criminal proceedings with significant business implications.
Stefan Wartinger specialises in competition investigations and cartel and abuse of dominance proceedings before the European Commission and the Austrian authorities. He also regularly advises clients on complex merger control and foreign direct investment screening matters in connection with domestic and multi-jurisdictional transactions.
These appointments support Wolf Theiss’ approach of “One region. One firm.” For clients investing and operating across CEE/SEE, this means direct access to local market knowledge and coordinated advice across jurisdictions and practice areas. As investment priorities shift and regulatory scrutiny increases, the firm brings together transactional, regulatory and disputes expertise to help clients assess opportunities, manage risk and implement decisions across the region.
