Bishop Krzysztof Chudzio, until now auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Przemyśl, was appointed coadjutor bishop of the Diocese of Rzeszów. The decision of the Holy Father Leo XIV was announced on 24 June 2026 by the Apostolic Nunciature in Poland.
Within the Polish Bishops’ Conference, Bishop Chudzio serves as Chairman of the Commission for Charities and Chairman of the Team for the Aid to the Church in the East, and is also a member of the Council for the Family.
