Rycroft Review: Letter to parliamentary party representatives

Letter from Secretary of State to parliamentary party representatives following publication of the independent Rycroft Review into foreign financial influence and interference in UK politics.

The findings of the independent Rycroft Review were published on 25 March 2026. The Secretary of State has written to representatives of the parliamentary parties setting out a factual explanation and advice concerning the impact of the government’s intended approach to deliver two key amendments through the Representation of the People Bill.
