The Royal Netherlands Navy ship HNLMS Pelikaan recently transported 150,000 litres of drinking water from Curaçao to the port of La Guaira in Venezuela, destined for the regions affected by the earthquakes in June. Defence provided assistance at the request of the Venezuelan authorities.
