Coming soon: Shared Island - Shared Horizons (2026-2030)

Led by Screen Ireland in partnership with Northern Ireland Screen, this is a future-focused fund intended to support the screen sector on the island of Ireland over the coming years, providing funding for new and additional all-Island programming. All applications must have at least two partner organisations (one from Ireland & one from Northern Ireland).

Backed by €1.25M over 5 years in award funding, the all-island capacity building projects will target advanced technologies and latest developments requiring investment in skills development and knowledge exchange, including virtual production, XR, games, design, and digital transformations in the screen sector.

The applicants must be a:

• Screen sector stakeholder, including AV or cultural organisation or industry representative body

• Further Education/Higher Education, public broadcasting body or state agency based in either Ireland or Northern Ireland

• Sectoral Guilds, sectoral festivals and relevant social enterprises. Charities and training providers are eligible

• Public arts bodies or aegis organisations

All applicants must have a strong track record of skills initiatives for the screen sector
