 Information for individuals interested in applying to deliver Peer Review Independent Expert Panel Services from June 2026. 


We are launching a tender to appoint a panel of Independent Experts who will act as a quality assurance mechanism to ensure the consistency of Peer Review Reports and ratings. We intend to enter into three individual contracts. This initiative is not about recruiting Peer Reviewers. It is focused on appointing Independent Experts to support and oversee the Peer Review Scheme.

The current contract is coming to an end and we are committed to the Peer Review Scheme as it plays a critical role in maintaining public confidence in the legal aid system.

The Ministry of Justice is using the E-Sourcing Portal, Jaggaer, for this procurement which means the ITT is available only in electronic form.
