Increasing family legal aid providers in Trafford

 We are seeking more capacity to ensure clients in Trafford can continue to access prompt family legal aid services. 


We would like to increase capacity in Trafford and make sure families can continue to access timely legal advice and representation. We are inviting organisations to submit bids to deliver family legal aid work.

Providers can apply at any time. Successful applicants will deliver work under the 2024 Standard Civil Contract.

We intend to award contracts under this process to commence as soon as possible after the verification process is complete.

Why is it happening now?
Families in Trafford use legal aid when dealing with issues such as domestic abuse, care proceedings, or disputes involving children. To maintain strong coverage, we need more providers in this area.

Organisations able to meet the contract’s quality and supervisory standards
