Brussels Airport Company has become the new owner of the building and land of the Novotel Brussels Airport hotel. The hotel is strategically located at less than two kilometres from the airport and right on the future tram connection to the airport. The operation of the hotel remains in the hands of hotel operator Essendi.
Brussels Airport Company has acquired the Novotel hotel building and surrounding land from Covivio Hotels. The hotel will continue to be operated by Essendi and managed by Accor Group.
The acquisition is in line with Brussels Airport's strategy to diversify its activities with investments linked to its airport activities. The hotel is exceptionally well located, just two kilometers from the airport and will be even better connected to Brussels Airport in the future thanks to the new airport tram. The hotel will then be only 5 minutes and 2 stops aways from the airport.
Brussels Airport already owns the Sheraton hotel at the airport and is planning the construction of a new hotel at the terminal by 2032.
