CIMIC’s CPB Contractors selected for Kwinana Freeway Upgrade project 9.9.2026 | HOCHTIEF AG CIMIC Group’s CPB Contractors has been selected by Main Roads WA to deliver the Kwinana Freeway Upgrade, between Roe Highway and Safety Bay Road, alongside partners McConnell Dowell, Jacobs and Arup.The Kwinana Freeway Upgrade will deliver a significant increase in capacity, safety and network efficiency across one of Western Australia’s most critical transport corridors, ensuring it can meet the future demands of a rapidly growing population and economy. The project will reduce congestion, improve travel time reliability and support more efficient freight and commuter movements across the Perth metropolitan area.The contract will generate revenue of approximately $250 million to CPB Contractors.ACS Group and HOCHTIEF Chief Executive Officer and CIMIC Group Executive Chairman Juan Santamaría said:“We’re building on our strong relationship with the WA Government, and working alongside Main Roads WA and the Office of Major Transport Infrastructure Delivery, to safely and reliably deliver the Kwinana Freeway Upgrade.
