Peter Ullrich is a sociologist/cultural scientist, and a senior researcher at the Centre for Technology and Society and fellow at the Center for Research on Antisemitism at the Technische Universität Berlin. His work, mainly in the field of political sociolgy, focuses on Antisemitism/Antizionism, social movements/protest, police and surveillance. His most recent publication include a co-edited volume Was ist Antisemitismus? Begriffe und Definitionen von Judenfeindschaft (Göttingen 2024) or an earlier expert opinion “Expert opinion on the working definition of antisemitism of the IHRA“ (Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung, 2019).
Sindre Bangstad is a social anthropologist, and a Research Professor at KIFO (Institute For Church, Religion and Worldview Research) in Oslo, Norway. The author of ten monographs and edited volumes, he was the 2022-23 Stanley Kelley Jr. Distinguished Visiting Professor in the Teaching of Anthropology at Princeton University, and received the 2019 Anthropology in the Media Awards (AIME) from the American Anthropological Association (AAA). His best-known work is Anders Breivik and the Rise of Islamophobia (Bloomsbury Academic, 2014). His latest publication from April 2025 is “The Palestine Exception to Academic Freedom and the IHRA Definition of Antisemitism” in The Journal of Imperial and Commonwealth History.
