Generální sekretář Fotbalové asociace České republiky Stanislav Rýznar byl zvolen členem FIFA Association Committee. Stal se tak prvním českým zástupcem, který usedne v tomto novém výboru mezinárodní fotbalové organizace FIFA.
FIFA Association Committee je orgán zodpovědný za vztahy mezi FIFA a národními fotbalovými asociacemi po celém světě. Výbor mimo jiné posuzuje žádosti o členství nových zemí, dozoruje dodržování pravidel ze strany jednotlivých asociací a pomáhá řešit spory mezi FIFA a členskými federacemi.
V případě porušení stanov může také doporučit pozastavení či vyloučení některé asociace.
FAČR General Secretary Stanislav Rýznar Elected to the FIFA Association Committee
The General Secretary of the Football Association of the Czech Republic, Stanislav Rýznar, has been elected as a member of the FIFA Association Committee. He thus becomes the first Czech representative to serve on this newly established committee of the world football governing body, FIFA.
The FIFA Association Committee is responsible for managing relations between FIFA and national football associations across the globe. Among its duties are evaluating applications for membership from new countries, monitoring compliance with FIFA’s regulations by member associations, and assisting in resolving disputes between FIFA and its members. In cases of violations of the FIFA Statutes, the committee may also recommend the suspension or expulsion of an association.
