The innovative mobile monitoring technology brings the entire frequency spectrum from HF to SHF together in a single unit with a patented design and active-passive switch for maximum immunity to interfering signals.
Munich, 14.10.2026 – The new ADD607 from Rohde & Schwarz meets the evolving needs of spectrum regulators and military spectrum managers. The compact direction-finding (DF) antenna is vital to mobile monitoring systems in high-density signal environments. An integrated active-passive switch prevents signal overload but is still able to pick up weak signals. The antenna unifies HF to SHF hardware in a single unit to streamline field operations and improve rapid response.
Unlike traditional setups that use multiple antennas to cover different frequency bands, the ADD607 provides seamless coverage from 9 MHz to 20 GHz in a single unit, drastically simplifying logistics and installation and speeding up field deployments. The antenna delivers top-of-the-line performance in a compact and lightweight design. The patented VHF-range antenna structure detects the weakest signals and provides superior coverage where it is needed most.
The ADD607 has an integrated active-passive switch and can adapt to signal environments with a single click; very important when strong interfering signals (mobile phone base stations) overwhelm standard monitoring equipment. The switch is immune to interfering signals and enables precise measurements in dense urban environments that were once difficult to navigate.
"Our customers want equipment that remains reliable in crowded signal landscapes," says Philipp Strobel, Product Manager at Rohde & Schwarz. "The ADD607 combines the widest frequency range on the market (9 MHz to 20 GHz) with a very compact form. The innovative active-passive switch flexibly preserves measurement accuracy even when it is close to powerful transmitters, so that no signal of interest goes undetected."
The ADD607 can be seamlessly combined with the R&S®PR300, R&S®PR200, R&S®UMS400, R&S®EM200, and R&S®ESMW for robust, mobile and transportable monitoring stations. Rohde & Schwarz has focused on mobile applications instead of fixed installations to create a technologically advanced antenna that is more flexible, versatile and easier to use than any other on the market.
