These events have resulted in over 1,000 young people already moving into jobs, work experiences or training opportunities.  The event reinforced the Government’s commitment that all young people under 25 should be offered one of the following high-quality pathways:   Employment   Continued education   An apprenticeship   A traineeship, a work experience placement or Sector-Based Work Academy Programme (SWAP)  Nottingham Jobs Fair is the latest example of the Government’s work to support young people into employment or training. The youth employment support package, backed by £2.5 billion investment, will support almost one million young people, and create 500,000 opportunities.   The Government will deliver at least one Youth Guarantee Jobs Fair in every region of Great Britain, giving young people across the country direct access to opportunities near them.  Additional Information:  Over 65 employers and providers from across Nottingham attended the jobs fair, including:  162 Regiment (Army Reserves)  4 Mercian Army Reserves  Army Careers  British Army (Central JCP)  Royal Navy  Royal Yeomanry  Broxtowe Borough Council  Gedling Borough Council  HMRC  Nottingham City Council  Nottingham City Council Housing Services  Nottinghamshire County Council  Nottinghamshire Police  Acuity Care Ltd  Age UK  Ardour Healthcare Services  ASHA Healthcare  City & County Healthcare Group (Bulwell)  Elevate Supported Living  Home Instead  Homes2Inspire  Innova House Healthcare  Keyline Care  Mencap  MoreLoved Care  Principle Support  Q Care Assist  Total Care Matters  Ultimate Group Healthcare Services  Vertas  The Lime Trees Group CIC  Barnardo’s  Catch22  Nexus Multi Academy Trust  Nottingham College  STAA  Staff for Education  TeacherActive  Teachers UK (Bulwell)  The Renewal Trust  YMCA  4M Recruitment  Express Recruitment  Link3 Recruitment  Nexus People  East Midlands Railway (EMR)  Manchester Airport Group (MAG) - East Midlands Airport  Rail Gourmet  Better Weld  Hovis  ITP Aero (Bulwell)  ITP Aero (Hucknall)  Amazon  Boots  KBeverage (Starbucks)  Carlin Security Services  Premier Security 24/7  Sierra 1 Security  Cherubs Nurseries  Nottingham Hospitals Charity (NHS)  Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust  PureGym https://www.gov.uk/government/news/nottinghams-first-youth-guarantee-jobs-fair-attracts-hundreds-of-young-jobseekers--2
