The book Society of the Future: A Social Science View of What We Assume and What We Can Expect, which has emerged from scholarly collaboration developed in recent years at the Faculty of Humanities of Charles University, is being published by Springer. Its editors are researchers who have worked at FHS UK (Jiří Šubrt, Nicolas Maslowski) or visited within the Erasmus+ program (Massimiliano Ruzzeddu).
Other co-authors connected with the Faculty include Lucy Císař Brown, Pavol Frič, and Jiří Tourek. The main goal set by the international team of authors is not to bring shocking or alarming predictions, but rather to cultivate in readers a way of thinking that strengthens their sensitivity to phenomena through which the future is already announcing itself today.
