Today, we’re announcing a $10 million Energy Impact Fund (EIF) to support energy innovation and affordability in Nevada. As part of this investment, we're providing $5 million to the Nevada Clean Energy Fund (NCEF) to help families within our data center communities lower their utility bills and improve home health and safety.
These funds will go to support NCEF's Residential Energy Upgrade Program (RE-UP), which brings free weatherization and energy efficiency improvements to households who face financial barriers to home upgrades but don't qualify for existing assistance programs.
Across our data center communities in North and South Nevada, these investments will reduce monthly energy bills and deliver meaningful public health and grid resiliency benefits for participating families and their surrounding communities — at no cost to Nevada’s residents. We’re proud to partner with NCEF today, and look forward to announcing our next grant later this year.
